Glycolic Acid Peel
$75 - $125

Glycolic acid is perhaps the best-known of a group of chemicals called alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). It is derived from sugar cane, so it can be considered a natural product.  Glycolic acid peels are often referred to as lunch-time peels as they have little or no down time. Glycolic acid works as an exfoliating agent because of its high acidity. Glycolic acid goes under the damaged upper layers of skin and destroys the 'glue' which holds dead skin to the surface. As this dead skin is chemically burned off, the other ingredients carry the individual flakes away and a water rinse neutralizes the remaining acid. The result is a much-smoother skin surface and a more youthful appearance. This medium strength concentration combats problematic skin conditions by evenly removing pore-clogging debris thus revealing a clear path towards beautiful skin.

What To Expect From a Treatment

Glycolic acid peels are offered in various strengths, allowing me to tailor them to your individual needs. This peel rejuvenates dull, rough skin from deep within the epidermis thereby stimulating healthy, new elastin and collagen growth. To achieve optimal results, a series of 4  6 glycolic acid peels approximately every 4 weeks are recommended. Results are cumulative, so the more peels you have, the better the results. After your peel over the course of a few days, the skin may range from normal to slightly dry and flaky.

VI Peel

As a medical-grade chemical peel, the VI Peel is an effective NEW GENERATION treatment that improves multiple skin conditions and issues including:

      •Fine lines
      •Age spots
      •Hyper-pigmentation, including melasma.
•Stimulate the production of collagen, for
          firmer, more youthful skin

The VI Peel also provides a more youthful look by brightening the overall appearance of the skin and improving collagen production. The blend of ingredients in the VI Peel produces radiant, smoother and firmer skin with no pain and very little downtime. The VI Peel is safe for all skin types. Clients typically experience a warm, tingly sensation that quickly subsides. The actually peeling process lasts 2 to 3 days, and is easily managed with a post-peel kit that is included with the peel. You'll see beautiful results in just one week!

Jessner Peel

This is a medium depth peel designed for more extensive damage and is excellent for all skin types. It can be used in treating mild to severe acne, discoloration, moderate wrinkling, and sun damage. Peeling the neck, hands, and upper chest is also very effective.  It is made with salicylic acid, lactic acid and resorcinol to result in deeper penetration and greater exfoliation of the outer layers of skin cells.

What To Expect During a Treatment
The Jessner's solution is applied to your face in several layers depending on each individual; it will then burn slightly (although this uncomfortable sensation can be relieved by a fan blowing cool air on your treatment area). You may develop a whitened look, known as "frosting" that will dissipate within a few hours.  Your peel is then neutralized and removed with cool water. A calming mask may be applied post procedure and you will then be sent home.  You will peel and flake for about 5 to 7 days to then reveal a smoother, healthier appearance. This peel may be reapplied in 4 week intervals.
